Rhino Manor has been a family-run business for ten years and the Jansen family serves each guest in person from the time of your arrival until your departure. It is for that reason that we receive the reviews that you may already have read and the reason why statistically we have one of the highest repeat-visit rates of any hostelry in the region.
As a location, Vanderkloof dam cannot be beaten. It is bordered by two game reserves, one of which begins less than one kilometer from the lodge and many private game farms. The water’s edge lies roughly hundred meters away from your room via one of Rhino Manor’s three scenic footpaths. The dam wall, unequalled at 108 meters in height, surpasses the spectacle of any similar structure in Africa. It is home to most of the world’s Large-Mouth Yellowfish records. Vanderkloof Dam is a fisherman’s paradise.
