Muchenje Cottages is a self-catering, self-drive camp located just 7kms (5 minutes drive) from the Ngoma entrance gate of the game rich Chobe National Park. There are three charming self-catering cottages, each with 1 double bed, en-suite bathroom, outside shower and curtained veranda with table and chairs. Self-catering Tents
There are three self-catering Tents, 1 with a double bed, and 2 tents with a twin bed configuration. Guests make use of a the communal ablutions, which is approximately 30m from each tent. Each tent has an outside under-cover kitchenette complete with cooking and eating utensils, fridge/freezer and gas stove. Each Tent has outside braai (BBQ) facilities.

Convenience Shop
Although there is no restaurant or bar on site, we do have a small convenience shop that sells the self-catering basics like: Firewood, Ice, Frozen Meat (beef & chicken), Microwave easy meals (M/W available to use at shop), soft drinks, snacks, crisps, biscuits, chocolates, dry pasta, pasta sauce, tinned food, milk, eggs, cheeses, teas, coffees and condiments.,

Camp Facilities & Services
The camp offers guests free Wi-Fi around our reception / office / shop area.
A Pay-for Laundry service.
Swimming pool, floodplain sun downer deck and grass terrace picnic area.

Attractions in the Area
Self-drive Game Viewing along the world famous Chobe River Waterfront - Ngoma Gate entrance just 5 minute drive from camp.
Chobe River Boat Cruises - all depart from Kasane - 1 hour drive to pick-up point.
Vic falls Day visit - All depart from Kasane - 1 hour drive to pick up point.

Although a 4x4 vehicle is not required to reach our camp, this area is best experienced by those driving a high clearance 4x4 vehicle such as a Toyota Hilux / Land Cruiser or similar.
