When planning your visit, please be aware that pick up at the Welgevonden Main Gate is scheduled for 12h30. As part of preserving the reserve's natural serenity, private vehicles are not permitted within the sanctuary. Should you need to arrive early or depart late, kindly note that a surcharge will apply, as the lodge is a scenic 45-minute drive from the gate. Nonetheless, we will do our utmost to accommodate any requests, always subject to availability.
