Drakenzicht cottage features three charming double bedrooms, two boasting comfortable double beds and one with two single beds. An additional fourth room outside houses two bunk beds, accommodating larger groups. For extra sleeping space, a sleeper couch is provided in one of the double rooms. Both the ensuite bathroom in the main bedroom and the centrally located bathroom have recently been refurbished, ensuring a pleasant and convenient stay.

Our farmhouse kitchen is equipped with all the necessary self-catering amenities, including a stove/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, and an automatic washing machine. The open plan lounge and dining area boast a TV with satellite dish, with DSTv activation available upon request.

However, the star feature of Drakenzicht awaits on the lovely covered verandah. This charming space serves as an entertainment area, featuring a generous wooden table that seats ten, overlooking the majestic mountainous horizon. As you soak in the beauty of the surroundings, our open braai facility on the elevated periphery allows you to enjoy the sweeping panorama while savoring your meals.

Conveniently located 27km from Winterton on the R600, our establishment is easily accessible via a well-maintained tarred road. We are also just 2km away from Champagne Sports Resort, making Drakenzicht the perfect base to explore the myriad of hiking and mountain bike routes of the Central Drakensberg.
