A very pleasant stay in a quiet comfortable room. The breakfast was excellent! Our arrival was most efficiently handled and the briefing on local activities and dining-out very useful.

Stayed just for 1 night but the hotel is a great choice if you're in Swellendam. We planned to stay in a ground floor double (which was a very nice room) but were moved upstairs to a suite because there were other guests above our original room and the owner thought it might be noisy.....an indication of the kind of service you can expect. All rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. Breakfast excellent and time flexible. Very good value for this quality of accommodation.

We arrived late on Friday afternoon and were greeted by a wonderful hostess that made us feel welcome from the first moment. The establishment was wonderful and the environment very relaxing. A few fellow cyclists were staying as well and she went out of her way to make us feel very welcome - and even got up at 4am to make us breakfast on the Saturday morning before our big cycle race!We'll definitely return again!
