Important Information

A deposit of 50% is required when a booking is made. The balance is to be paid in full seven days prior to arrival. No cheques are accepted; only bank transfers or cash. Bookings can only be confirmed once the amount due has been paid. Children are charged as adults.

Access to the lodge is via a 12 km dirt road and although it is at times accessible by a normal car, we recommend guest travel with a vehicle with a higher ground clearance. Once inside the gate, you are already in Big 5 and on your own game drive towards the lodge.

Although the area is a low-risk malaria area, we advise guests to take precautions. Should you have any concerns or questions about malaria in the area, please contact the malaria hotline.

We are vegetarian, banting-friendly and vegan friendly.

The first night we were put in unit 3 - as the place was empty I have no idea why they put us in that unit. It was absolutely dreadful and nothing remotely like the pictures. I had mentioned to the owners that it was my wife's birthday, and they baked a cake and made a real effort to make her day special. The facilities are great, staff is friendly and courteous, service is customer oriented and nothing is too much trouble. This was a repeat visit, and we will back again!!
