Guests can enjoy the spectacular view of the Kalahari plains, early morning or late afternoon game viewing safaris and a variety of activities, including horse riding safaris, walking trails, bird watching, star gazing, clay pigeon and airgun shooting, kids’ safaris, cooling off in farm dams, team building events, leadership safaris, veld schools, birthday parties and weddings.
We are excited to facilitate corporate team building and leadership challenges where employees will be guided to conquer their corporate world as they conquered the Kalahari through our Kalahari Safari Mini Olympics.
We are blessed to have the opportunity to present veld schools and youth camps to show our youth our beautiful Kalahari and how to respect, love, and co-habit with the wild and nature.
We are pet friendly – please let us know in advance that we can ensure you and your pet companions have the best and safe accommodation. Your horse can be accommodated in a beautiful stable and you are more than welcome to view our game on your own horse.
The lodge comprises of seven en-suite chalets that can accommodate 20 guests, some with private boma areas. Our bush camp facility caters for up to 50 guests in kalahari stone-canvas structures; two "bush" rooms with two single beds each, ablution, an African Boma and “movies under the star” facility. Adults and kids can enjoy a Super Kalahari Slide, as well as cooling off in an authentic farm dam.
Our in-house Chef, Chef Manus, is a venison connoisseur and his exquisite dishes will suit the palate of both the young & old. Join him for a Kalahari breakfast on the breakfast patio under the Witgat tree, or a light lunch on our air-cooled patio. Supper is a relaxed, although stylish event with various courses presented, accompanied by a selection of our finest Kalahari wines. Guests that use the self-catering facilities can order our picnic baskets and braai our specially selected meat cuts at your own private boma.
Our African Boma nights is an event not to be missed: guests will be treated to a selection of our Kalahari venison, paired with the best locally produced wines. Booking is essential.
An airport Shuttle Service (6 x guests max) between Sishen Airport and the lodge is available (prior booking essential).
