About Kalahari Mountain View Dune Trail
Kalahari Mountain View Dune Trail is 80 km from Postmasburg, neighbouring Witsand National Park. It is also close to Groblershoop and Griekwastad.
The trail is located on a private farm but Witsand visitors are permitted to venture this 27 km trail of sand and mountain. The trail is split into two parts; a 23 km sand dune trail and a 4 km mountainous trail. The trail’s difficulty grading is 3 and low range, high clearance vehicles are required. This is a self-drive route.
The trail is open all year round but August is the best time to visit.
